Janis Ian personifies the inspiration for a Santa Cruz Signature model. Her singular playing style, defined from years of professional experience, required custom voicing, playability and stage presence, a Santa Cruz specialty.

Genuine Honduras Mahogany cutaway body, hand voiced Sitka Spruce top, and Janis' signature "Rude Girl" logo fret board inlays are amplified by a pickup system custom designed by L.R. Baggs with Janis in mind. The JI model shares the small body, big sound surprise that Santa Cruz is known for. This is a parlor-sized cutaway with a very contemporary look. The Janis Ian signature model is a professionally proven stage and studio instrument.
