To make Janis Ian's dream guitar, we employed our substantial luthiers body of knowledge to custom voice an instrument  with electric guitar playability, state of the art electro-acoustics in collaboration with L.R.Baggs and an attention getting stage presence.   An old growth, responsibly harvested Mahogany cutaway body, hand voiced Sitka Spruce top and Janis' signature "Rude Girl" logo fretboard inlays make a striking presentation. This parlor-sized cutaway with a very contemporary look is a professionally proven stage and studio instrument. The JI model inspired Ani DiFranco to exclaim to Janis, "#@*%#*#**!
